Below is a visualization and description of some of the most significant incidents of political violence in Nigeria from March 4 to March 10, 2023. This update also represents violence related to Boko Haram in Cameroon, Chad, and Niger. These incidents are included in the Nigeria Security Tracker.
- March 4: Gunmen killed one police officer in Ogbaru, Anambra.
- March 5: Bandits killed two police officers and one other in Maru, Zamfara.
- March 5: Gunmen killed three in Riyom, Plateau.
- March 5: Gunmen killed a traditional leader in Rimin Gado, Kano.
- March 5: A soldier killed three other police officers and himself in Rabah, Sokoto.
- March 5: Suspected herdsmen killed three in Owan West, Edo.
- March 5: Nigerian Air Force (NAF) airstrikes killed three civilians in Giwa, Kaduna.
- March 6: Police officers killed one kidnapper in Isoko North, Delta.
- March 7: Bandits killed six and abducted fifty in Rafi, Niger State.
- March 7: Unidentified airstrikes killed “several" (est. at ten) in Wushishi, Niger State.
- March 7: Bandits killed six vigilantes in Birnin-Gwari, Kaduna.
- March 7: Police officers killed three gunmen in Ivo, Ebonyi.
- March 7: Herdsmen killed eight in Gwer West, Benue.
- March 8: Bandits abducted three in Bosso, Niger.
- March 8: Boko Haram killed thirty-five fishermen in Ngala Local Government Area (LGA) and one police officer in Magumeri LGA in Borno.
- March 8: Electoral violence led to one death in Alkaleri, Bauchi.
- March 8: Islamic State in West Africa (ISWA) killed one hundred Boko Haram militants in Dikwa, Borno.
- March 8: Herdsmen killed "some" (est. at five) in Kwande, Benue.
- March 8: Herdsmen killed seven in Guma, Benue.
- March 9: Boko Haram abducted seven in Magumeri, Borno.
- March 10: Bandits killed one and abducted four in Lere, Kaduna.
March 10: Kidnappers abducted fifteen in Bwari, Federal Capital Territory
