Will Hurd, a San Antonio native, has been a CIA officer, cybersecurity executive, congressman, artificial intelligence (AI) policy pioneer, author, investment banker, and presidential candidate. In his twenties, serving overseas with the CIA, he thwarted terror threats. In his thirties, he helped build FusionX to combat cyber adversaries, and in Congress he addressed critical national issues from AI to the new cold war with China. In his forties, as a managing director at Allen & Company, a board member of OpenAI, and a trustee of the German Marshall Fund, he was at the center of technology, national security, and public policy. As a presidential candidate, he introduced innovative AI and border policies. Hurd has a computer science degree from Texas A&M University. He is based in Helotes, Texas.
